Spotlight on Crossville Tile, Inc.

Founded in 1986, Crossville, Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer of award-winning tile collections for residential and commercial applications. An innovative industry leader, Crossville introduced the nation’s first large-format porcelain tiles, a technologically advanced, aesthetically unique product that transforms interior spaces with beauty and style.

Crossville is an environmentally responsible manufacturer, the only tile company to recycle more waste than it produces. The company’s cutting-edge portfolio of products is functional, fashionable, and eco-friendly. The company even offers Hydrotect™, an invisible coating that make the tile to which it is fired resistant to adhesion of dust, oil, and dirt and reduces the growth of indoor bacteria for better air quality.

For River Vine, we selected products from Crossville’s Laminam lines, featuring large-scale porcelain tile panels that are uniquely sized for a near-seamless application. With an expansive 3-foot outer dimension and a slim profile just millimeters thick, Laminam panels are among the largest, thinnest porcelain slab-like tiles produced, providing beautiful surface coverage with minimal grout lines—a sleek look for River Vine’s bathrooms’ surfaces. Low-maintenance and performance-driven, the Laminam porcelain tile panels have a fiberglass mesh permanently adhered to the back for added strength and flexibility. Laminam products offer all the benefits of porcelain in versatile designs that pair well with other materials for cohesive contemporary styling.

“Crossville Tile is a perfect partner for River Vine, both in the products they offer and in the environmental responsibility we share. We admire Crossville’s products for their quality, style, and durability, but we also admire the company’s progressive manufacturing process, its innovative spirit and its core values of family, respect, partnership, integrity and improvement—values that also define AMS, Gen7 and River Vine Vineyards.”
